Comments on our Festival throughout the years:

Commenting at the Autumn Festival on Saturday 2nd November, Stephen Crabb MP said,

“I thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the cawl crawl challenge which took us to shops and premises around Fishguard and had an excellent time at the producers market during the Fishguard’s Autumn Festival. The atmosphere in the town on the day was fantastic.
“It was wonderful to see so many community groups come together to provide an excellent line up of activities over the 5 days to celebrate our local culture, food and music.”
“The Fishguard and Goodwick Roundtable have done an excellent job in being the driving force behind this successful festival and I look forward to seeing it become a regular feature on the Pembrokeshire events calendar.”

Stephen Crabb MP Pembrokeshire

Well I think a huge amount of thanks has to go to Fishguard Round Table on yet another very successful Autumn Festival! What a triumph! Fantastic weekend, over 130 tickets for the Cawl a Chan sold, and literally 1,000’s of bowls of Cawl being served during the Cawl Crawl! Well Done to all those who attended and supported the Round Table. Also an even bigger round of applause for all those involved in the continual growth of this event, especially the guy’s of the Round Table who do all the tremendous amount of behind-the-scenes work! WELL DONE TO YOU ALL!!
Fishguard and Goodwick Town Council

Another successful Autumn Festival, well done Fishguard Round Table for the massive efforts you all put in! You all give so much of your time to put things on throughout the year – I think you guys do more for our towns than any other organisation and you deserve a very large ‘thank you’ from the whole community.

We ‘popped’ down from Bridgend for the cawl crawl on Saturday. We thoroughly enjoyed it!!! Everyone was so friendly and the cawl was delicious! Well worth the trip! We came down last year too. The event in the town hall was lovely – music, farmer’s market, crafts, tombola etc… and the church opposite had some lovely women organising crafty things for the kids. I would thoroughly recommend a visit next year!!!

You and your members have done an excellent job in being the driving force behind such a successful event and I look forward to watching it grow and develop in the future. This is exactly the type of event that we need more of in Pembrokeshire. It’s a real celebration of our culture, food and music.
Please do not hesititate to get in touch with me if I can be of assistance in the future.”

Please thank the Round Table for all their work and enthusiasm and the vision in the first place and for their encouragement and support of St Mary’s event.
